Green Gates has been a Bed & breakfast Braunton for over 25 years. The property has been completely refurbished in the last 2 years and we strive to provide all the home comforts and a few extras to make your stay with us a really enjoyable experience.

We take pride in providing not only great tasting food that is freshly prepared using local ingredients but food that is well presented. Our menu is varied and interesting offering alternatives to the usual traditional full English.

Braunton itself is reputedly the largest village in England and it really has something to offer everyone.

For shopping, we have a wide variety of surf, craft and gift shops.

For the active, you can hire bicycles to explore some of the 180 miles of the Tarka Trail. Hire surfboards, body boards, wetsuits and arrange lessons.

You can climb Braunton Beacon and enjoy the panoramic view of Braunton Great Fields. Bird watch and walk at Crow Point.

Play golf at the renowned Saunton Golf Club or…..

Just head for the stunning beaches of Saunton, Croyde Woolacombe and Putsborough where the sunsets are always spectacular.

At the end of your day you can either enjoy our evening meal served twice a week, or sample the local eateries in Braunton. You can find diverse eating experiences including Thai, Indian, Tapas, Bistros, pubs and the famous Squires Fish Restaurant.
