Thank you for choosing to book your stay at Green Gates. Please make sure that you read the terms and conditions below.

Our tariff includes your accommodation on a bed & breakfast basis. Extras, including afternoon tea and evening meals are charged as consumed and will be itemised on your final bill.

We reserve the right to change the room tariff and whenever possible we will advise you prior to your arrival.

Once your booking has been made, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you have paid is non refundable. The deposit is based on 20% of the cost of your stay or a minimum amount of £20.00 and payment of the deposit confirms your acceptance of our terms and conditions.

If you need to cancel your booking you should contact us as soon as possible. If you cancel within 48 hours of your expected arrival, we will endeavour to re-let the room. If this is not possible you will be liable for the cost of the first night of your stay.

If you fail to arrive for your stay without any communication, you are liable for the full cost of your booking.

Early checkout of a booked reservation may result in the full charge being made to cover the remainder of your stay.

For any of these reasons, you may wish to take out cancellation insurance that can be obtained from any good insurer.

If, for reasons beyond our control, we had to cancel your booking, we would either offer to re-arrange your stay or refund your deposit. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

You are responsible and liable for any damage or breakages which you cause. We would not normally charge for minor breakages, but if the damage or breakage is significant we may send you an invoice. Liability

We do not accept liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party, any vehicle or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves.

You may check in anytime after 3pm. If you intend to arrive after 6pm you must arrange a time with Green Gates.

Only the named persons on the registration form are eligible to stay in the room overnight. People not staying at Green Gates are not permitted to visit without prior agreement from the owners as this is a home and not a hotel. Any visitors must leave Green Gates by 6pm at the latest.

Children within your party should not be left unattended in the rooms. Babysitters for guests children are not permitted.

We reserve the right to terminate your booking in circumstances where you engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to other guests. You will be liable to settle your bill up to date.
